Olga Safronova

Chief Chorus Master
Olga Safronova graduated from the Urals Mussorgsky State Conservatoire in 1979, she studied at Z.M. Zavadskаya’s workshop. When she was a student she started working as a choir actress at A.V. Lunacharskii Sverdlovsk Opera and Ballet Theatre.

In 1983 she started working as a choir actress,
In 1985 she was appointed chorus master of Samara Academic Opera and Ballet Theatre.
Ever since she has been a stage co-director of all opera plays. She took part in festivals with the theatre’s chorus band, she toured with the theatre to England, Italy, Germany, to Russian cities such as Moscow, Saint Petersburg, Novosibirsk and etc.
In 2014 she was appointed chief chorus master of Samara Academic Opera and Ballet Theatre.

Olga Safronova is a soloist in the vocal duet “Garmonia”. She performs solo set lists at different venues in Samara. She is also a soloist in the theatre’s concert programs.
